Client Development of the initial book concept

Book Sprints Team Consultation on setting up a Book Sprint, customisation of the process design

Client Logistical preparations, secure funding, confirm participants, agree on a date, organise venue, vendor onboarding and contracting

Kick-off meeting with facilitator and all participants

During the Book Sprint

Onsite: 5 days of about 12 work hours;
virtual: 5+5 days of about 8 work hours

During the BookSprints

CONCEPT Agreement on the book’s vision, objectives, scope and audience

STRUCTURE Development of a reader journey, table of contents and chapter outlines

WRITING Drafting in breakout groups, in-group revisions

EDITING Iterative revisions across breakout groups, cross-pollination of ideas, top-to-bottom reading, final editing

PRODUCTION Simultaneous book production (illustrations, book design, copy editing)

After the Book Sprint

2-5 days

Book Sprints Team Finalisation and handover of the book files

Participants Review and approval the book files

Client Publishing of the book
